スタートアップと企業の第二創業を支援するfabbitは、2021年4月16日に大型拠点「fabbit Global Gateway “Hakata Ekimae”」のオープニングセレモニーを開催しました。福岡市はグローバル創業・雇用創出特区であり、当日は福岡のみならず、九州を代表する行政や自治体、教育機関、スタートアップ企業、上場企業が一堂に会し、ニュース発表や特別講演、スタートアップセッションなどを行い、600名以上がオンラインやオフラインで参加しました。
冒頭では、fabbitの最高事業責任者である田中保成が福岡市に大型拠点を構える意義や施設概要の紹介を行いました。続いて、経済産業省 九州経済産業局 産業技術革新課長の平田 実 氏、福岡市経済観光文化局 創業立地推進部長の富田 雅志 氏、株式会社西日本シティ銀行 デジタル戦略部 部長 兼 株式会社西日本フィナンシャルホールディングス グループ戦略部付部長 兼 株式会社ＮＣＢベンチャーキャピタル 取締役の吉村 剛 氏が来賓挨拶をされ、fabbitおよび福岡市のスタートアップ業界に対する期待を述べられました。

fabbit, which provides an ecosystem to help startups and companies establish their second business, today announced that a report of an opening ceremony for its lage scale facility fabbit Global Gateway “Hakata Ekimae”. Fukuoka City is selected as a special city for global business startup and job creation. On the day of the event, representatives from government, local government, educational institutions, startups and listed companies from Fukuoka and other Kyushu area gathered together to celebrate the opening. fabbit announced several news and held event to have special lectures from listed and startup companies, and over 600 people participated it online and offline.
At the beginning of the event, Yasunari Tanaka, a chief business officer of fabbit, introduced the significance of establishing a large facility in Fukuoka and an overview of the facility. Mr. Minoru Hirata from Kyushu Bureau of Ministroy of Economy, Trade and Industry, Mr. Masashi Tomita from Fukuoka City, Mr. Takeshi Yoshimura from Nishi-Nippon City Bank and NCB Venture Capital gave a celebration speech.
Then, Mr. Kozo Yuki, General Manager of SSAP Division of fabbit and Mr. Takashi Kawamori, President of Avispa Fukuoka Co., Ltd. announced a partnership for dual and second career support for Avispa Fkuoka’s players, coaches and staff. Mr. Hokuto Nakamura, Official Ambassador of Avispa Fukuoka, Mr. Tomoyuki Kakita, Representative Director of OneAcademy, and Mr. Tsuyoshi Kawata, Offensive Quality Analyst of Stanford University Football Team, also commented on the importance of career development support for athletes.
In addition, Haruki Yoshio, CEO of SystemSoft Corporation, and Tsuyoshi Sakamoto, Representative Partner of QB Calital LLC., which invests mainly in university-launched ventures in the Kyushu area, announced that they would cooperate in introducing fabbit members and QB Capital’s portfolio companies to each other, holding events and social gatherings, and finding business partners that can leverage university technologies. Mr. Masaki Kumano, Professor of Kobe and Kyushu University and Mr. Hiroyuki Kurata, Professor of Kyush Institute of Technology, spoke about their expectations for this collaboration.

After the presentations, they talked about why they started their businesses, the difficulties they faced after starting businesses, and the projects that they are currently working on, with Mr. Naka as the moderator.

Selkey is based on one of the leading consumer smart keys provided by CANDY HOUSE JAPAN (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which has shipped more than 100,000 units in Japan. In addition, SS Technologies provided development support for its SaaS solution. It also developed a system for “SKIPS” which is the tenant application SaaS, that can automatically issue one-time passes for a rental room preview.
SS Technologies is developing the “SS Cloud Series” to promote the digital transformation of real estate companies. SKIPS is a cloud based application service for tenants that allows tenants to make reservations for property viewing, to offer a key for previewing, moving-in application, screening request to guarantee companies, and to sign a lease. SKIPS is used by more than 2,000 brokerage companies.

It supports professionals and student athletes to boost their business skills, find jobs, venture new field and businesses
SystemSoft Corporation today announced the launching of the SSAP (Social Success Athlete Project) to support athletes’ second careers. The SSAP division serves as a supportive framework for career development to athletes from students to professionals, by utilizing the company’s expertise in the temporary staffing business and the network cultivated by the fabbit business unit, which provides an ecosystem to support startups and the second funding of companies.
A former J-League player for JEF United Ichihara (now JEF United Ichihara/Chiba), Sanfrecce Hiroshima, and Dusseldorf, Germany, Kozo Yuki will be in charge of the SSAP business and will provide a unique human resource development program based on the SystemSoft and fabbit principle.
“Professional athletes and aspiring professional athletes possess skills that are functional to business, such as self-management, goal achievement and teamwork; however, athletes themselves are heedless of these skills”, says Kozo Yuki, the leader of this project who turned from a professional athlete into a businessman. “Until now, there have been no programs to help them apply these skills in the business field. The SSAP project will support athletes to build second careers through job placement, career transfer, and start-up support using the company’s corporate network and know-how.”
